Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data: email address, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers.
• Study data: your answers, session results, timing, flags, confidence ratings, and derived statistics (accuracy, spaced-repetition schedules).
• Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, and status, never card numbers.
• Technical data: standard server logs and error telemetry.

2. How we use it

To operate the service (scoring, analytics, spaced repetition), process subscriptions, provide support, send transactional email (account confirmation, study digests you opt in to), and improve question quality in aggregate.

3. What we don't do

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the processors needed to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Fly.io (hosting), and Resend (email).

4. Retention and deletion

Study data is retained while your account is active so your analytics work. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; we delete or anonymize it within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or accounting purposes.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level security, and payment details never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to us immediately.
